What’s Jelly?

Jelly's a casual work event where everyone's invited. It's for anyone who'd like to work alongside other creative people in a welcome environment.

Some Jellies are in people's homes (that's how it started) others are in coffee shops and businesses. You bring your laptop and some work, and Jelly provides wifi, a chair, and smart people to bounce ideas off of and collaborate with.

See workatjelly.com and this blog post for more information.

More Ideas

Jelly is an amazing idea and perfect opportunity for people looking to collaborate and learn new things. I started the first Jelly in Grand Rapids and so have a pretty good show of interest. I had another idea for a Jelly that would allow people to get together and learn new langauges. For instance we could have a Spanish-Speaking only Jelly someplace for people looking to learn Jelly. If you're interested or have other ideas, share 'em in the organizers' group. -- Topher

Thanks!

Brandon Tschida:Awesome idea! I'm a consultant who works form home and if there is one thing I miss the most about working in a corporate setting it is the networking and social atmosphere that comes with it. Can't wait for the Minneapolis one to get up and running!
